Always with Emphasis on Strong Passwords, use of third party Security Software McAfee, Norton, other Highly Rated Antivirus Software, Bitdefender Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security...
...the do's and don't s of how to use the Internet/Web, and our E-Mail. Plus in-addition there are Web Browser Extensions or Add-Ons as Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Norton Safe Search Enhanced, Norton Safe Web, Norton Password Manager and others...
...Above and Beyond Our Operating System Software as Apple/Mac OS, Microsoft , Linux, Ubuntu, Android, Chrome OS and others om using Computers, Laptops, Tablets, SmartPhones and other Devices accessing the Internet/Web. Which One Would Think the Operating Systems should provide the Best overall Security, falls short.
I also, feel the same can be Said of Our Internet Service Providers (ISP) that receives our $$$ to use their Service of our many needs and uses We as Users require in this Technological World we are in a part of.
As Users trying to be Cautious, Alert, Aware, with Use of third party security software & browser extensions/add-ons, shelling out the $$$ for the Added Protection.
Then their are "News Flash Bombs" about Data Breaches...be it Banks, Financial Institutions, Medical, Local/State/Federal Government & Other Business Entities utilizing the Internet/Web Business we have provided Our Personal Information, Names, Addresses, Phone Numbers, Employment, Banking, Credit Card Info, Usernames, Passwords.
Why the Emphasis on Strong Passwords, Double Triple Layers of Security in Protecting Our Accounts and use of 2-Step Verification...when Organizations as most Resent "Stolen Data of 533 Million Facebook Users Leaked Online" !!!
As Users (in many ways of this idiom" "Paying Through The Nose" for So Called Protection and for What, only to have the Companies & Organizations compromise what we strive to Protected From Identity Theft, and Compromise of our Personal Information.
When Our Data is Compromised by Companies & Organizations in how they manage their Security of their Systems...what Compensation Do We Receive ??? What Are Our Options then ???
