You Took My Handicap Parking Spot

a tough one to argue...being handicapped myself, I know what it is like, the challenges we experience every day...

...many times I see someone take a handicap spot, only to see them get out of their vehicle without a Cane, Walker or Wheelchair, and their disability is ? 

There are those who abuse the privilege, if you can call being handicapped a privilege...or those who use a friends or their parents vehicles...who are handicapped, but are not with them, using their placard/vehicle with a handicap license plate, take a spot those in need could of used.

I avoid using a handicap spot when other regular spots are available, even if it means extra walking, but then I am able too, but not without pain, discomfort and sometimes it takes a couple days to recuperate, even though I do have a Cane, Walker and Wheelchair.  

Even if you are physically capable, trying using a Cane, Walker or Wheelchair in your every day routine, places you go and do.  

If you find many things difficult to accomplish, then imagine trying it with physical limitation or other disability that makes routine more difficult, things you may take for granted.

I would never wish any person to be handicapped, but sometimes I feel what goes around comes around and possibly a repeat offender might find themselves with the millions who are handicapped, 

One in Five have disabilities...and at the same time there are those who are disabled or with limitations who want to be treated the same.  

Remember: at any moment in life, a person no matter age or sex, your life as you thought might have been normal, is no longer and the challenges can be many.  

A wrong turn while driving, being distracted, a drunk driver, work related incident or accident, sports, any moment you begin to move, even while walking, running, for an instant life can change drastically. 

Think of every time you begin to use a handicap spot and you are not handicap, you just took a spot of someone you may know that is handicapped and what would they say to you.  Or in process having taken that handicap spot going to from the place of business you are struck by a vehicle.

So if you are thinking this cannot happen to you, ask anyone you know who is Disabled/Handicap with Physical Limitations, or other incapacitating injury, or debilitating injury what happened to them.

Having been a Fire Fighter of over 24 yrs, having had to leave the Fire Service with disabilities, it can happen, I have seen it, responded to many incidents and accidents, on the road, home, school, business, on the job and my life changed forever in one moment.

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA)  prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for persons with disabilities in employment, State and local government services, public accommodations, commercial facilities, and transportation. 

Research your State's Handicap Parking Laws, be aware of the Penalties for taking a Handicap Parking Spot.

If People Choose to, and they are Happy, leave it be...which I believe they too may pay Taxes, Medical Cost, and Health Insurance. 

Add to your list Distracted Drivers, Drunk Drivers, Drugs, Criminals, to name some who also cause the Costs of Many Things to Go Up and Take Lives...

99.9% Dust-Free or is it ?

For those who have a Cat or Cats, have you ever wondered about the"Scoopable or Clumping" which Weighs a lot, not quite a ton.  I wonder about those without upper body strength, the elderly, shoulder and joint pain, arthritis, etc.

Is it really safe for our Cats digging in these different Litter Brands, there has to be chemicals right ? 

Then our Cat(s) clean their paws, they must ingest what is in the Litter.  Same of whats on the hard or tile floor and carpet Cats travel on, chemicals from cleaners, fragrance sprays for your clothes and furniture, room fresheners, furniture polish, etc.  Cats Lick Their Paws and Fur.  Same of Canines and other indoor pets.

Now makers of Cat Litter have created a Lighter Cat Litter, which Costs More for Less.  Does it have less chemicals and is it safer for our Cats, you might ask.

The volume is less and weighs less....meaning the Makers now save even more money, not having to pay higher shipping cost of that old heavy Cat Litter.

However, some Makers are still making the heavy stuff I know, and for many may continue buying it....but Why?...because the cost of the New Improved Lighter Cat Scoopable Litter is not inexpensive per Ounce/Pound.

If you have not noticed many Products we consume...we pay More for less and less each year. The packaging is different or the size of the container takes on a different shape appearing the same size as before, not 16-oz, now 12-oz and cost the same or more.

After 30-60 years for some of us using the same Brand Product, how many ways can you improve a product, and is it a better product than before. Just my thoughts for the day.

So many Varieties, weight size/amount, Clumping, Scented, Unscented, Instant Action, Dual Power, Super Clump, Fresh & Light, Extreme, Extra Strength, Double Duty, Super Scoop, Multiple Cat, Natural, Long Lasting, etc.

Why not just plain Cat Litter Does the Job, it Clumps, it Scoops, and Weighs Less than Dirt per pound.  Scoop & Dispose Frequently no matter if 1 Cat or 10 Cats.  

Who cares if it is Scented, I do not stick my Head in the Cat-box and breathe in.  For the Cat it has to smell like Cat Pee & Poop.  They Identify with it.

Gold Heist $4.8 Million '11th Largest Heist In History'

A Gold Heist, almost 5 million in Gold aboard not an armored truck, but on a Semi a plain 18-wheeler, heading down Interstate 95, near Wilson, NC.   

The Armed Security Guards transporting the Gold pulled over on the highway because of engine trouble.

3 men in a white van stop, robbing the shipment and tying up the 2-3 Guards, leading them into the woods.

If the Semi had engine trouble, how did the 3 Men in the White Van get away with nearly $4.8 million, in the same Semi with engine trouble ?
