7-Year-Old Handcuffed Over $5

News Event - The family of a 7-year-old New York boy is suing police and the city for $250 million, saying cops handcuffed and interrogated the boy for ten hours after a scuffle over lunch money at school.

My Views/Comments: To the Officer or Persons who handcuffed a 7 yr old. Do you have children, would you have wanted someone cuffing your child over $5

What was $5, now could turn into $250 million...Not a Smart Move..but I am sure you knew that before cuffing a 7 year old...that or you are One Dumb Person. May you be cuffed and put in a Bull Pen with 70 Inmates.

Taking the Easy Way Out, Costs

News Event - The Story of a Man Who Outsourced His Work to China, so He Could Watch Cat Videos All Day

Mr. X, worked at a "critical infrastructure" company in the U.S. and started outsourcing his work to China underneath his company's nose, and would only pay those people less than one fifth of his six-figure salary.

Having sent a Company in China his RSA Key, which his company noticed that the Virtual Private Network (VPN) logs showed Mr. X logged in from Shenyang, even though Mr. X was sitting at his desk.

Verizon investigators quickly noticed a major red flag.  The VPN connection wasn't new and had been active for at least six months.  And found hundreds of PDF invoices from a third-party contractor in Shenyang on Mr. X's computer.

And while workers in China were doing Mr. Xs job for him, Mr. X was sitting back, relaxing, watching videos, and earning "several hundred thousand dollars" a year.

My Views/Comments: the story is not about the video watching, rather in my opinion that of Mr. X, being a traitor to not only his Company, also depending on the sensitivity of this Company's work/contracts, could be selling American's down the river, and jobs.

Mr. X's profile –mid-40′s software developer versed in C, C++, perl, java, Ruby, php, python, etc.  Relatively long tenure with the Company, a family man, inoffensive and quiet.  Someone you wouldn’t look at twice walking down the street, in a restaurant, in your home or place of business.

Makes you wonder if Mr. X or others like him are working for our Government sending work out of the US or compromising sensitivity material/confidential or worse...Secret information.

Scientist Find - Realize - Discover

News Event - Russian scientists camped at the coldest place on Earth say they have recovered water samples from Lake Vostok, buried beneath more than 2 miles of Antarctic ice.  Cut off as it is from the surface, scientists think that the huge freshwater lake hasn't been touched for more than 14 million years. The chemistry of the isolated water could provide a glimpse into Earth's past and primitive forms of life on Earth.

Expedition leaders hope the lake is home to cold-loving microbes adapted to life in the dark, icy depths, also cut off from the outside world for millennia.

My Views/Comments: Why do Scientists spend money and time to explore the depths, on the surface and beyond into space to learn about the past....when they should be looking at what might be happening in the near future NOW !!!???

WHO CARES !!! about 14 million years ago.

News Event - The Milky Way Galaxy May Be Less Massive Than Thought

The Milky Way galaxy, home of Earth's solar system, may actually be only half as massive as currently thought, scientists say.

Stars in the far outer reaches of the Milky Way, between 260,000 and 490,000 light-years from the galactic center, are cruising around surprisingly slowly, researchers found.

My Views/Comments:  Scientists are surprised to discover our galaxy may be far from the size previously thought.  SO WHAT !!! its not like I can drive to see for myself, as if I was going on a trip to the Grand Canyon or Yosemite or the Grand Tetons.

When Scientist, Explorers, Governments should be looking to fix, resolve issues happening right now in their Front Yard...as in the future maybe too late.
