Genetic Lineage Roots & Human Evolution

As a Genealogist of 28 yrs researching I may never know or learn were my Genetic Lineage Roots began of Earth's Human Evolution, as there are differences in Our Human Origin from Science or Religion, that of Our Lineage (anthropology), you may choose to believe.

Scientific "Molecular Anthropology" genetic, "Paleontology" (scientific study of life that existed prior to) and "Archaeology" (human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains)

Genealogy Research I find very Fascinating as I do the following...

Humans 1st evolved in Africa, and much of human evolution occurred on that continent.  The fossils of early humans who lived between 6 and 2 million years ago come entirely from Africa.

Early humans 1st migrated out of Africa into Asia probably between 2 million and 1.8 million years ago.

Recently "Archaeologists in Egypt" have just announced the discovery of what they’re calling a Lost Golden City, and they say it’s the most important discovery since King Tut’s tomb was discovered 23 Nov 1922.

Over 5,000 objects were King Tutankhamun's mummy, chariots, model boats, canopic jars, chairs, and paintings.  Tutankhamun was the 13th pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Egypt, making his mummy over 3,300 years old.

Genealogy in Anthropology Pedigree refers to the record of an ancestral line or lineage; the origin or history of something; a distinguished ancestry; and the recorded purity of breeding.

Genealogical DNA (Genetic Genealogy) testing first became available on a commercial basis in the year 2000 with the launch of Family Tree DNA and Oxford Ancestors.

Genetics, anthropology of

Unilineality is a system of determining descent groups in which one belongs to one's father's or mother's line, whereby one's descent is traced either exclusively through male ancestors (patriline), or exclusively through female ancestors (matriline).

Both patrilineality and matrilineality are types of unilineal descent.  The main types of the unilineal descent groups are lineages and clans.

The word "Genome" derives from Gene and Chromosome.  Genome includes both the genes (the coding regions) and the non-coding DNA, as well as mitochondrial DNA and chloroplast DNA.  The study of the Genome is called Genomics.

I D.R. "Doc" Young am of the Haplogroup R-M269 - is a group of similar haplotypes (the ancestry of groups of genes) that share a common ancestor with a single-nucleotide polymorphism mutation.

Ancestor: R1b1a1a (R-P297)
Descendants: L23; L51/M412, L151/P310; Z2103

Possible place of origin: Neolithic Expansion -  the final division of the Stone Age, with a wide-ranging set of developments that appear to have arisen independently in several parts of the world.

The Neolithic Period 3900-1700 BC

Paleoanthropologist Genevieve von Petzinger studied rock art sites across Europe and discovered that Ice Age Europeans employed just 32 distinct geometric sign types from 40,000 to 10,000 years ago.

The Last Ice Age on Earth the Pleistocene Epoch typically defined as the time period that began about 2.6 million years ago and lasted until about 11,700 years ago. The most recent Ice Age occurred then, as glaciers covered huge parts of the planet Earth.

Why are these 32 symbols found in caves all over Europe

Testing the DNA of Cave Art
Friday 19 June 2020

The University of Victoria paleoanthropologist Genevieve von Petzinger explains that a DNA test, which would reveal genetic mutations due to evolution, could help pinpoint the time period a painting was made and may help determine if the art was actually the handiwork of humans or Neanderthals — who lived about 130,000 to 40,000 years ago.

"It would just be so fascinating to see the identity.  The million dollar question is, did Neanderthals paint?"
