Ad Annoyances vs Ad Blockers

To Web Content Designers, Advertisers, eMarketers...after 30 yrs online, I am tired of the Annoyances of Advertising, monitoring my movement, likes and dislikes, etc.  Collecting Data for whatever purpose about me personally and what I do with my Computer & Other Devices and Online Activity.

I am fed up with images/text, ads flashing, blinking, vibrating, somersaulting around your browser window.

Even with Pop-Up Blocker enabled, appears a window...that may play sounds or video...all which is in-your-face marketing and tactics that are downright annoying.

There are the delayed pop-ups as I scan the page to find the content I want to see or read...a window appears dab smack in the middle, and unless I acknowledge, its existence...remains.

I am tired of reading about how your advertising is the main way that you cover your costs and the use of software that blocks ads means you may struggle to continue in providing the depth and breadth of content you currently have up.

We the Consumer/End User also have to further deal with...

Web Cookies: that provide a way for your Web site to recognize Us and keep track of Our preferences.

Tracking Cookies: are placed on your computer by "third-party" advertisers to monitor the user's Web surfing habits and are generally considered an invasion of privacy.

Another Annoyance is that of AdWare / MalWare / SpyWare / Hackers / Viruses, and the need for added Security Software, at our Cost.

I understand if I care about my Privacy, I would not use devices of communication, surf/sail the web/Internet, that I should leave your site immediately, as to not waste more of my time.

We the End User, pay for our access to the Internet, Computers / SmartPhones/ Tablets/ Laptops/ Phablets, Software Applications and Programs, Hardware and other Devices as Modems/Routers/WiFi/Cable, Media Streaming to aid in connecting to the Internet/Web.

And if that is not enough, we the Consumer also deal with the annoying TV Commercials

Let us not forget Telemarketers and phone calls.

As well as paper advertisements delivered, placed in our yards, door step, on/in our door's and windows, under the windshield wipers.

All of the above are Unwanted, Un-Invited, made to sign acknowledging we accept the terms, FORCED is how I look at it, only Option is not to Accept, Go Online, Watch Media or Visit Your Site.

I will keep my Ad Blockers Active Enabled.

May I suggest Get your Costs/Money from the Manufactures/Providers/Services, as this would be past onto the Consumer anyway, nothing is truly Free, even the Air we Breathe comes at a Cost...So Leave Us Alone !!

We the Consumer/End User Already Paid in So Many Ways
