Gold Heist $4.8 Million '11th Largest Heist In History'

A Gold Heist, almost 5 million in Gold aboard not an armored truck, but on a Semi a plain 18-wheeler, heading down Interstate 95, near Wilson, NC.

The Armed Security Guards transporting the Gold pulled over on the highway because of engine trouble.

3 men in a white van stop, robbing the shipment and tying up the 2-3 Guards, leading them into the woods.

If the Semi had engine trouble, how did the 3 Men in the White Van get away with nearly $4.8 million, in the same Semi with engine trouble ?

And the Robbers knew which barrels contained this Gold ?

And was there more of a valuable cargo left untouched on a 18 wheeler ?

You would think on one of the busiest roads on the East Coast, the Robbers had time rob, tie up the Guards and move the Gold to the Van, which is stated to weight 275 lbs...

....how convenient the Semi really had engine trouble, while it just so happens 3 Robbers were following the Miami-based transport company TransValue Inc. hauling the valuable cargo from Florida to Massachusetts or were the 2-3 Guards in on the heist ?

Depending on which story you read, there are either 2 or 3 Security Guards
